The hair used by Socap Original for Hair Extension comes from India and is 100% natural. The choice of using Indian hair has resulted from the fact that European and Chinese hair is unfit for the kind of application required. European hair, mostly coming from Northern countries, is very thin and fragile and it has often already undergone chemical processes such as bleaching, pressing or perms; Chinese hair is too thick and therefore it is not compatible with our hair and is unfit for extentions.

Finally there is Indian hair, of which two kinds are offered on the market. One comes from the collection of the hair remained in brushes, and it is obvious that it will include hair of different quality, length, thickness and colour.

Furthermore, the scales, representing the basic structure of the hair, will be inevitably ranged in different directions; therefore, in order to be employed, this hair has to undergo an aggressive chemical process that destroys the cuticle and leaves the hair dull and fragile.

The other comes instead from women donating their hair during Hindu rituals in temples; in this case the locks are tied before being cut. In this way, the hair will include locks of one kind and colour.

The scales of its cuticle will also be arranged all in the same direction from the root to the tip. Apart from the Natural Remys Hair, So.Cap.Original has recently adopted an innovative method to apply extension locks.

It consists of applying a keratin layer at the top of each lock. 95% of your hair is made up of keratin protein just like your skin and nails, so by applying a keratin layer on top of each hair lock, we are respecting the nature of the hair as keratin allows your own hair to grow with the extension whilst it is attached to your hair.

The keratin, is provided in the same colour as the lock itself, this allows to achieve a perfect application, totally invisible and without smears.
